Kevin and Kimmie hit so many roadblocks to their wedding, but not even rain on the wedding day ruined their celebration. Loved ones gathered under umbrellas during the ceremony, and the clouds broke long enough to get some gorgeous shots of Kevin, Kimmie, and the bridal party. Congrats, Kevin and Kimmie!!!
I love engagement sessions because they give me a chance to get to know a couple before the wedding day! Mike and Sydney were so laidback and adorable – I can’t wait for their wedding! Having their sweet dog there was fun, and Pamperin Park was beautiful with the lush green that comes before the […]
Jacob and Cesia’s wedding felt like a blissful breath of fresh air away from the crazy world we’re living in right now. Held at Jacob’s grandparents farm, there were picturesque moments to be held all over, from the wildflowers to the river. Cesia did a lovely job of incorporating sparkly details with the raw textures […]
What a great way to start back to shooting after quarantine!! The Jung kids gifted this session to their parents (what a way to win brownie points, am I right?!) and they kept me laughing the whole time. It’s fun to have clients with young kids, but families with grown kids are enjoyable in a […]
I will get back to regular content over here on the blog – just wanted to share one last personal post- a tour of our nursery! My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years, but have always rented up until this past fall when we bought our first home in Green Bay, […]
We are on official baby watch now as I approach 39 weeks. My very, very long list of projects to get done before little man arrives has dwindled, and while I keep finding more things to do, I would be happy for him to come any day. This momma is done being pregnant! I had […]
We’ve been keeping a little secret here – I am pregnant with baby #3!! We found out the week that we moved to Green Bay – new state, new job, new house, new baby! Why not all the things at once?! I am due on June 3, and we are thrilled to have a true, […]
The Whitleys got to be my first session upon arriving in Green Bay, and goodness they were sweet! Graham had us cracking up, and there were many reminders to keep hands out of sleeves – even if you’re freezing! But you can’t tell at all from these pictures – we just pretended we were at […]
I first met the Baudhuins SIX years ago when we were all at seminary in St. Louis. We lived next door for a summer, and then shared a backyard for the next semester. Their boys were toddlers, and we loved everything about their family. Before they left for Green Bay, I did their family pictures, […]
Dominic and Haleigh’s wedding day was full of laughter, and tears of joy. It all started with a fake first look, with the best man dressed in a wedding gown. Haleigh’s walk down the aisle was one of the most poignant that I’ve had the honor to witness as Dominic watched his bride walk toward […]
While there was snow at my house in Green Bay, yellow leaves and golden sunlight graced their wedding day in Saint Louis! The whole wedding party had a blast together and they were so glad to be married. Mike and Afton have worked together for years, and it was fun to hear stories from their […]
In the middle of a packed, noisy Tower Grove Park, they laughed and danced as though they were the only people there. There were crowds of people, no parking, and lots of music but we found some gorgeous, secluded spots in the middle of the crazy. It felt similar to their proposal last spring – […]
We braved Forest Park on the most crowded day I’ve ever seen. Dustin and Paige took the crowds in stride and were up for anything as I dragged them all over Forest Park 🙂 We hit most of the prime spots – Grand Basin, Art Museum (in the background), Art Hill, and the World Fair […]
Finishing their senior year, working, and planning a wedding – Nathan and Katie are doing all the things, and have SO much to look forward to! We took advantage of their spring break to spend an afternoon at Shaw Nature Reserve taking their engagement photos! I was nervous there wouldn’t be much green yet, but […]
If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Zach and Margaret, you know that they are incredibly kind people. Margaret has an eye for design and it was so much fun to shoot in their cozy family room. Charlie was showing off his big brother skills for his photos and I can’t help but […]
