Jordan and Taylor’s wedding was an incredible mix of romance, glam, elegance, and fun. Taylor’s love of books was so creatively intertwined throughout all of their wedding – from library card invitations and table numbers to beautiful books that she brought along for detail shots and a handwritten story she’d written in a journal. Jordan contributed his tech knowledge by setting up these super cool light-up centerpieces for the reception, which they put different bottles of alcohol on. Another amazing highlight of their day was getting to dance their first dance on the stage at the Meyer Theater!!! The family had some connections that made it happen, and oh what a memorable first dance it was!
And on to the most important part of any wedding – the people. The love and stability that Jordan and Taylor have found in one another was so evident as we walked through the day and saw the emotions that were stirred as they read each other letters, saw each other for the first time, and walked down the aisle to their new life together. While I love getting gorgeous portraits, I get most excited when I upload my photos and find series of images of happy tears between father and bride, a groom who is trying to hold it together when he watches his bride walk down the aisle. These are the moments that may fade in our memory, but photos keep them fresh in our minds, and passing the story of love down for generations to come.
