Several years ago, I hid behind some bushes waiting for Joe to propose to Alli on the patio of the Brasserie in Central West End.
Joe had put the ring box in his sock and had to fish it out as he was on one knee. Alli said yes, and several months later we met at Forest Park for their engagement session!!! We connected over being alumni from Truman State University and they quickly felt like friends, not just clients.
Like everyone else, little did they know that their wedding plans would get totally waylaid by the pandemic.
With only a couple of week’s notice, Allie replanned their wedding into an intimate backyard ceremony with their families and postponed the big celebration….which got postponed again. Finally, they were able to gather with all of their loved ones to celebrate their marriage with a vow renewal and reception.
Forest Park provided some incredible photo spots, and we left just in time for an epic downpour of rain followed by power outages. The reception went off without a hitch, and was graced by a surprise delivery of donuts for Alli.
