JEWEL TONES STYLED SHOOT | St. Louis Wedding Photographer at Sunflower Hill Farms

Jewel tones, dreamy venue, and a real-life First Look. I couldn’t have dreamed it up even if I’d tried. This styled shoot was perfect.

We had an amazing team of vendors who worked hard to think through and execute all of the details you’ll see in these photos. But what couldn’t be planned by any of us was our bride and groom models. Turns out, Tico and Samantha had gotten married at the courthouse a couple of weeks prior, so they were newlyweds, and gosh did they have chemistry! Part of my job as photographer is not only taking the picture, but making sure that you look your best in the photos by coaching where to put your hands, how to stand, etc. They were naturals.

As Samantha was getting ready, she asked if we could do a first look since Tico hadn’t seen her in a wedding dress. Um YES. So we set up a first look, and it was adorable and beautiful and real and absolutely picture perfect.

If you haven’t been to Sunflower Hill Farm, it is an absolute must-see, whether you are a bride or not. They have a new cafe where you can purchase coffee and food made with locally grown organic produce. The farmhouse on the property is incredible – I wish I’d gotten ready for my wedding in there! Chef Lee made delicious food (I may have been drooling while taking photos) and I just can’t get over the butternut squash shooters. Such a perfect touch to this jewel-toned shoot!
